The Ghost Train
The Ghost Train were formed in 1985 by Graham Scott and John Lessels (singer & bass player) at Kirkcaldy YMCA from the ashes of local band Nationwide. The bands first gig as a 5 piece was in August 1985. at The Skittle in Kirkcaldy, Fife. The band released two singles - Killing Time/Hope and Glory Double A Side on Kingdom Come Records. In 1988 they recorded a 12 inch only EP for their US label ISM records, which was released in the United States in 1988 and the UK and Europe in 1989. They disbanded in June 1990 after a hugely successful tour of Germany. The Ghost Train have since reformed, however only two of the original members remain. Skoti (Lead Singer) and Chas B (Guitarist). Their current line up also includes Mark Burdette (Guitar), Lefty Wright (Bass) and Minchess Yass (Drums)
