Luca Di Fulvio

Luca Di Fulvio is an Italian bestselling author who won the hearts of readers in Germany with his title The Boy Who Gave Dreams, among others. Luca Di Fulvio was born on May 13, 1957 in the Italian capital, Rome. There, taught by Andrea Camilleri, he studied dramaturgy at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico. He was then a member of The Living Theater in London for six months, where he worked with figures such as Andrzej Wajda and Julian Beck.

In 1987 Luca Di Fulvio's first novel was published, under the title Al maschile. However, his greatest success came in 2008 with La gang dei sogni (Eng. title: The Boy Who Gave Dreams). The title was also a huge success in Germany, spending several weeks on the Spiegel bestseller lists in 2012. To date, his thriller The Taxidermist was filmed in 2000 under the title Occhi di cristallo.

Luca Di Fulvio publishes books in the genres of thrillers, historical detective stories and short stories. Under a pseudonym Duke J. Blanco Luca Di Fulvio also writes children's novels. In 2013, under the title The Girl Who Touched Heaven, his latest book was published in Germany. Luca Di Fulvio lives and works in his hometown of Rome.
