Real name: Lars Eric Carlsson

Swedish composer, lyricist, music publisher and music educator, born 28 November 1943 in Örebro.

He learned to play the piano at the age of nine and an acoustic guitar when he turned 14. Lars started to write songs in 1960 and soon wrote songs with music publisher Stig Anderson, who later became the manager and lyricist of ABBA.
