Harmon Ray

Real name: Herman Ray

American blues singer, born 1914 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He moved to St. Louis in his youth, where he worked with Peetie Wheatstraw in the 1930s. He recorded with Big Joe & His Rhythm in 1942 and worked with and recorded with Sammy Price for Hy-Tone in 1948 and Decca in 1949.
