Sarah Dutcher is a solo and collaborative pianist, instructor, and composer based in New York City. She has performed at Lincoln Center, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, International Keyboard Institute and Festival, Interharmony International Music Festival in Italy, and Porto PianoFest in Portugal. Her vocal piece “Sleep” was among the nominees for Best Composition of the Year by the Austin Critics’ Table in 2013. Dutcher has studied with Dr. Geoffrey Burleson, Dr. Martha Thomas, and Dr. Betty Mallard, and holds performance degrees from University of Georgia and Hunter College, CUNY. Her other projects include the vocal duo Due Signore with soprano Stephanie Granade and synth duo Beyond Thyme with William Kennedy. In 2021, Dutcher will compose two pieces for a concert celebrating the work of American author Ray Bradbury at the Brooklyn Museum.
