The Equitables

The Equitables were Frankie McIntosh's studio band, based out of New York and consisting primarily of Vincentian musicians. They performed on many calypso and soca releases from the mid-1970s to the late 1990s. From the mid-1980s onward, most of the band members overlapped with The Rebles and both bands recorded for Straker's Records.

Backing vocalists in the 1980s were generally Cauldric Forbes, Winston Soso, Glenda Ifill, and Master Gee.
In the 1990s, vocalists were usually Cauldric Forbes, Designer, Wendy Mitchell, and Singing Francine.
