Danish pop/rock with west coast touch…

Danish pop/rock trio Momb enters the Scandinavian music scene with a bag full of great pop songs and leaves everybody humming their catchy tunes. The band members met in high school and hit it off immediately drawing attention from the Danish music community, due to their obvious musicality, and in particular their powerful and distinguished lead vocalist Core Thoegersen. With an average age of just 25, Momb have already 8 years of experience on stage – and it shows!

Just finishing their second tour, Momb are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm from the live audience who spontaneously respond to their blend of rock energy and pop songs, topped off with delicate vocal harmonies

After years of being open to all kinds of musical influences and flirting with different genres, Momb have shaped and sharpened their sound by researching the outer boundaries of the mainstream music in the ‘90s. They have never missed the path but stayed focused on the all-important trademark of the band; The fresh pop tune.

Momb’s self titled debut album was released in Denmark in Spring 1997, and the release has already spawn three solid radio hit singles, “Please Let Me Be The One”, “Some Day” and “Sea Of Time”, on both National as well as commercial radio stations. The band is now preparing for the second album, and even though the first albumt left the fast growing following wondering how the band could move on from this fabulous debut, the new songs shows even further development of the exciting blend of wonderful hooks and the quirking edge of their to-die-for vocals.
