Real name: Robert Leon Thomas

Singer, born in Newport News, Virginia.
Robert (Bobby) Thomas was involved with several singing groups before getting a contract with Chess Records in 1963.
Later he was a member of vocal group The Dutches for about a year then joined The Gospel Crusaders whom he sang with for five years. He formed his own group called Channel 3 in the late 1960's and joined The Notations in the mid-1970's.
