The Regiment has had 3 Staff Bands, A & B were formed from the former RTR Staff Band in 1947.
The 'A' Band - Regimental Band of the 1st RTR, later called The Cambrai Staff Band.
The 'B' Band - Regimental Band of the 2nd RTR, later called The Alamein Staff Band.
The 'C' Band - Formed 1950, Later called Rhine Staff Band, Became Regimental Band of the 3rd RTR in 1984, Amalgamated into 1 RTR and 2 RTR in 1993.
The 4th RTR based in Scotland, has it's own Pipe Band 'The Pipes and Drums of 4th Royal Tank Regiment'
