The band Elipse ("The Ellipses") started in 1963 in Belgrade, Serbia (former Yugoslavia). In the beginning they played covers of The Shadows and became very popular in the mid 60's. After Edi Dekeng joined the band as singer in 1967, they changed music orientation to r'n'b/soul. The group was disbanded by the end of 1968.
