Tehrapiegruppe is a trio based in Berlin and Kassel.
“We didn’t look for each other and found one anyway. What unites us is the self-healing purpose of music and the willingness to relentlessly portray weaknesses and failures. A variety of topics are discussed, such as the love of cordless drills, the art of conscious forgetfulness when letting go, strategies for coping with illness and the hobby of designing planted moss balls. To do justice to this diversity, we work with different genres and instruments: Genre bending, antifolk, lo-fi folktronic, riotgirl tantifolk, cucumber rap, deodorant punk, psychedelic heavy listening, spacefolk, kaputto pop are performed on guitar, singing saw, Casio organ, pocket operator, singing. We hope our music helps you as much as we do.”
