Don Dunn is an American songwriter who began his career in San Diego, California in the 1960s. His songs have been recorded by Joe Cocker, José Feliciano, Rare Earth, Kenny Rogers, Cher, 5th Dimension, and Diana Ross. He spent much of the 1980s teaching songwriting and performing in local clubs around San Diego. He is probably best known for co-writing the rock classic "Hitchcock Railway" with Tony McCashen.

After spending some time in Nashville, Dunn returned to San Diego although he’s almost always on the move. After spending five months in Odessa, Ukraine recording with Yuri Kuznetsov, a keyboardist identified with a loose-knit group of Eastern European musicians who explore jazz improvisation, folklore, and New Music, he released "Voices from Another Room" in 2009. Dunn and Kuznetsov recorded this project as a duo under the name Odessa Connection.
