Real name: Lawrence Maidment

Lawrence Chaney is the stage name of Lawrence Maidment, a drag performer and one of the Season 2 contestants of "RuPaul's Drag Race UK". In an interview conducted by METRO, Lawrence explained the origin of their drag name. "Lawrence" comes from their real name Lawrence Maidment. "Chaney" was inspired by a 1920s prolific silent movie star. Lawrence explained "He was known as the man of a thousand faces and I’m known as the queen of a thousand faces, because I’m good at impersonation, stupid voices and general buffoonery."
