Band assembled around 1985 by Cameo-guitarist, singer, composer & producer Charlie Singleton, who continued to perform and record with Cameo as either sideman or rejoined member. His first solo project entitled, "Modern Man", was released in 1985 on Arista Records featuring "Make Your Move On Me, Baby", besides appearing in the same year as guest on Cameo's album, Cameo - Single Life. In 1986 he enjoyed much success with Cameo's LP, Cameo - Word Up!. Singleton subsequently switched over to Epic for two more solo albums, 1987's "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained" and 1989's "Man On A Mission", both featuring appearances by his fellow Cameo band members, Larry Blackmon and Tomi Jenkins.
