Senegalese artist, although born in Ivory Coast on January 20. Seynabou Diop, better known as Nabou, became famous as the highly energetic dancer with Touré Kunda in live performances from 1983 through about 1991. She also contributed backing vocals to most of the group's albums during that period. Nabou released the debut single "Bamboula" / "Adouna" in 1987 and her first solo album Adouna in 2009.
