Real name: James Floyd Soileau

Floyd Soileau (November 2, 1938 in Grand Prairie, Ville Platte, Louisiana, USA) is a record producer and owner of a record shop, multiple record labels and a pressing plant. He is the founder of Floyd's Record Shop (in Ville Platte), founder of labels Big Mamou Records, Vee-Pee Records, Rod, Swallow Records, Jin Records and Maison de Soul Records. The last three are part of the Flat Town Music Company nowadays. He was owner of Ville Platte Record Mfg. Co. Brother of Joseph Soileau, father of Chris Soileau.
