Songwriter from Montreal active in NYC in the 60s, recording for labels such as Columbia (though one of his singles was actually Artie Wayne on lead vox). His pseudonym was created as his father Harry Ship was a notorious Montreal crime boss. Going back to Quebec, he’d later produce Canadian acts such as his brother’s bands Life and the Scene. At the beginning of the 70's he went to London, recorded a still unreleased album for RCA and also played with the Ro Ro band. Died in New York City on 22 May 2021.
