George Cobb

Real name: George Linus Cobb

American composer (1886-1942) best known for ragtimes, including both instrumental compositions and ragtime songs, he did also compose other works including marches and waltzes. Jack Yellen was a frequent lyricist for the songs.
His most famous work is "The Russian Rag" based on Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C-sharp minor, Op.3, No.2.
