Real name: Ida Kristina Sandlund

Swedish jazz singer and pianist, also known by the stage name Ida Sand, born November 5, 1977 in Stockholm.

Ida Sand studied at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg. She made her recording debut as a guest artist on Nils Landgren's Christmas with My Friends in 2006 and released her first solo album, Meet Me Around Midnight, the following year. In the 2006/07 season, she played keyboards in På spårets husband. She has a musical collaboration with Viktoria Tolstoy and Nils Landgren.

Ida Sand is married to the guitarist Ola Gustafsson and the daughter of the opera singer Staffan Sandlund.
