François Dunkler Sr. (born 17 May 1779 in Rastatt, died 1861 in s'Gravenhage) was a Dutch composer, conductor and musician (bassoon, trombone and other wind instruments). He is the father of François Dunkler Jr. and grandfather of Emile Dunkler. Among other military bands he conducted the Koninklijke Militaire Kapel. His best known composition is the grenadier march "Turf in je ransel".
