Gian Carlo Testoni (February 16, 1912 Bologna, Emilia Romagna, Italy - July 19, 1965 Tonfano, Marina di Pietrasanta, Lucca, Tuscany, Italy) was an Italian lyricist and journalist
He entered the history of light music as one of the authors of the first winning song of a Sanremo Festival, the famous Grazie Dei Fior sung by Nilla Pizzi; he is also considered, for his activity, one of the fathers of Italian jazz. He worked as a professional journalist and has published numerous books of fiction for boys and two books of poetry, numerous radio plays.
