Real name: Imogene Lucille Jobe

American jazz and pop singer.
Born: September 9, 1922 in Trenton, Missouri.
Died: February 24, 2003 in Lancaster, California.
Married to Mahlon Clark (1945-1967) (divorced).
She sang lead vocals on "Big Boy by Ray" McKinley and His Orchestra, which hit #16 on the U.S. charts in 1943. In 1944 Lynn joined Artie Shaw's band and in 1946 replaced Virginia Rees as lead female vocalist of The Merry Macs (1946-7). In 1949, she became a member of The Starlighters (replacing Pauline Byrne).
