Hail Social coming out of Philadelphia feature Dayve Hawk (vocals/guitar), Matt Maraldo (drums), Dan Henry (10) (bass), and Richie Roxas (guitar). Meeting on the job, Hawk and Maraldo, already knowing Henry and Roxas, formed Hail Social recording four demos and a 7". Joining producer Brian McTear they recorded their debut album, Hail Social - Hail Social was issued on Polyvinyl Record Company in Summer 2005. Tours with the Secret Machines and Interpol followed into the Fall. The band's sophomore album, a disco-tinged effort called Hail Social - Modern Love & Death, was released two years later.
