Born 18th January 1993 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, young Roxeanne's chart breakthrough came as a result of finishing in fourth place in the Dutch version of "So you wanna be a Pop Star", covering Maribelle's "Ik Hou Van Jou". Mentored by her father's coach, Tom Peters, the song was dedicated to her father who had passed away in September 2004. She is the daughter of André Hazes and the sister of André Hazes Jr.
