Rob Vandeven (born in Olds, Alberta, Canada) is an alt-rock bassist and vocalist. Vandeven came to South London, U.K. in 1978 to attend art school. He formed a band with Canuck high school friend Mark Bandola (he also now living in England) and Paul Rigby known as Midnite Movie. In 1983, Rigby left the group with Bryan Hudspeth taking his place and new guitarist Peter Barraclough coming aboard soon joined after. Along with all these changes came a new moniker: The Lucy Show.
