Real name: Felipe Bermejo Araujo

Felipe Bermejo Araujo (November 12, 1901 - September 27, 1989), was a Mexican composer and musician, born and died in Mexico City. He was the author of the Corrido de Chihuahua, co-authored with Pedro de Lille, as well as Juan Colorado, co-authored with Alfonso Esparza Oteo. He recorded more than a hundred recordings throughout his artistic life. He is also the brother of Guillermo Bermejo and Miguel Bermejo, founders of the Trio Calaveras.
