Real name: David J. Bumpstead Jr.

Effective period / Period of releases: 1995

Artist / Producer / Remixer / Session musician who spent 1990-2015 working for record labels as diverse as WEA / Maverick, Mangled, Atlantic / Big Beat, Suburban Base, London Records, Freskanova, Jstar, Relative Records, Above Machine and Acid Jazz.

Formed proto-d&b group Phuture Assassins in 1990 and subsequently co-produced Matrix vs. Dilemma's 'Spring Box' in 1998. Later signed to Madonna's Maverick Records in the US as a member of Soul Hooligan, through which the band released the album 'Music Like Dirt' and contributed to TV and movie soundtracks such as 'Austin Powers: Goldmember' & 'Six Feet Under'. Left Soul Hooligan to concentrate on managing producer James Sanger (producer of albums for Keane and Siobhan Donaghy) during 2004. Resumed recording in 2006, juggling two personal projects, 'Twisted Tongue' and 'Mondo Disco'.
