The Belles

Effective period / Period of releases: 1966

Members: Sherlie Matthews, Brenda Holloway, Patrice Holloway

Female vocal soul group who recorded the archetypal Northern Soul track 'Don't Pretend'.

The 'official' band members were Sherlie Matthews, Debra Dion, Rose Mary Bailey and Patricia McElroy.
