Johnny Pierre has been active as a songwriter since 1966. As a songwriter, JP enjoys writing in several different musical genres; Americana, Blues and Rock & Roll. Besides his songwriting activities, JP was once a member of the legendary Long Island rock band, the Freelance Vandals. Currently, Johnny releases music as a solo artist and as a member of the Americana band, the Biscuit Kings.
