David Storey

British painter and graphic designer (born 2 August 1954, Workington, Cumberland, England). Started his career designing record sleeves for The Rocket Record Company (1977-1979), moving on to Chrysalis (1979-1984), where he became art director. Here he designed many sleeves for their subsidiaries Go! Discs and Two-Tone Records, together with John Sims. In 1986 he co-founded The Bureaux. He moved away from the music industry in the 1990s, establishing a painting studio in Hove, near Brighton.
