Luko Paljetak - was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia. on the 19th of August, 1943. He is a Croatian writer and academic. Paljetak is the author of numerous poetry and children's books. He also wrote many articles, eseys and research papers on literature as well as many significant anthologies. He is also a HAZU member (Croatian Academy for Arts and Science). Many of his songs became popular pop-song-lyrics.
