Erefaan Pearce

Real name: Erefaan Pearce

Born Pascal Pearce on June 29, 1977 in Cape Town, South Africa, he started deejaying in 1998 and built up a reputation over five years of playing in the "Mother City".

In 2002 he started producing, his first commercial release being a track called "Forever free". He released a slew of original productions for the South African market on different house compilations, notably the "Deeper Sounds of" series by USM Records.

Mr. Pearce runs a label called "77soul" and "Heads and Tails music" and also produces under the aliases Pearce, Pascal and for Down South Music as The Heartbreakers.

Young Pascal changed his name to "Erefaan" when the family converted to Islam.
