American jazz harpist. Worked with Stanley Turrentine, Wendell Marshall, Shirley Scott, Art Taylor, Stan Getz, Jimmy Cobb and others. She was taught to play the harp by Velma Froude at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, who would also teach Alice Coltrane a couple of years later.Born August 06, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan.
Died April 13, 1986 in Santa Monica, California.
