Radovan Gobec

Real name: Radovan Gobec

Slovenian composer, conductor and choir master. Born 1909 in Podgrad near Ilirska Bistrica, died 1995 in Ljubljana.

From 1946 to 1957 was the conductor of Akademski pevski zbor Tone Tomšič (Academic Choir Tone Tomšič). In 1953 he took over the leadership of Partizanski Pevski Zbor.

Gobec is the author of many vocal partisan songs and songs for children.
