The Hershey Squirts

Members: John Alaniz, Chris Chapa

Humorous hardcore band from Corpus Christi, Texas, active from 1988 to 1990. Taking influences from Queen, The Ohio Players, "Weird Al" Yankovic and Napalm Death, they cultivated their own brand of ultra high-speed hardcore notoriously known as "Conan Core." Their live sets included costumes, headbanger fashion shows and stripteases. And they featured members that played in other bands such as Angkor Wat, The Willies, The Krayons, Pure Hate, Demoralized, AdNauseam, Big Mouth, Sweet Daddy, Festus, Action Jackson, Manchurian Candidates, Curse The Heavens and Mala Suerte.
