Australian musician (b.Melbourne 26 December, 1941 -

Formed The Jaywoods in 1959. Worked briefly with The Thunderbirds, then formed his own backing group The Chessmen in 1960. Many appearances on TV, and worked as a support act for various visiting international stars during 1963 (Connie Francis, Bobby Rydell, Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison) and for The Beatles' Australian tour in 1964. Compere of "Teen Scene" 1964-1965 and an announcer on Radio 3UZ 1965-1972. Became a country music artist in the 1970s.
