Silke Eberhard

German saxophone and clarinet player born 1972, based in Berlin. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler“ with Rudi Mahall and Grégoire Peters. Her intensive occupation with the music of Eric Dolphy led to the project Potsa Lotsa. She won the jazz prize Berlin 2020. in 2012 Eberhard was Artist in Residence at the Stadtmühle Willisau (Switzerland). She has played with Aki Takase, David Liebman, Wayne Horvitz, Dave Burrell, Michael Formanek, Jürgen Kupke, Jan Roder.
