Real name: Mette Mathilde Bondo

Danish folk vocalist and violinist, best known by her alias Mathilde (2) and as part of the husband/wife duo Lasse & Mathilde, b. Januar 30, 1956 in Odense.
Reputedly she met with Tom Waits in Copenhagen in 1976 and became the object of Waits's "Tom Traubert's Blues (Four Sheets To The Wind In Copenhagen)" w. the refrain "Waltzing Mathilda" adapted from the Australian traditional. She's also referred to as "Lange Lone" in the Kim Larsen song "Østre Gasværk".
