Held By Trees is a British instrumental post-rock collaboration of musicians who took part in the sessions for Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden (1988), Talk Talk - Laughing Stock (1991) and Mark Hollis - Mark Hollis (1998), led by David Joseph. "Other inspirations include the minimal piano work of Ryuichi Sakamoto, and early 70's Pink Floyd" according to Held By Trees' Bandcamp bio.
