Indalecio Ramírez
Indalecio Ramírez Rodríguez was born on February 19, 1927 in the picturesque town of Igualapa, Guerrero, Mexico. His parents were Messrs. Vidal Ramírez Guillén and Elisa Rodríguez Victoria. He emigrated and settled in Costa Chica de Guerrero until 1945, later living in the Port of Veracruz and, since 1960, he resides in Mexico City. The musical genres that most dominated the master musician Indalecio were the bolero, the Ranchera Song, the Peruvian type Waltz, the Ecuadorian Pasillo and the Colombian Bambuco or Colombian Clave. In addition, he liked music from southern Mexico and Latin America. Maestro Ramírez died on April 18, 2015.
