New York group active from 1977 to 1983. Played in CBGB, Max's Kansas City, Mudd Club, Danceteria, Hurrah’s among other venues.
Fronted by Gregory Lee Pickard (guitar, lead vocals) with original lineup Jimmy Wynbrandt (lead guitar, vocals), Nels Pierce (bass, vocals) and Dana Duquet (drums, vocals) but performing and recording with members of Television (Fred Smith), Patti Smith Group (Jay Dee Dougherty), Blondie and Madonna -but moreover, shared a camaraderie with every wannabe musician and poet within this outcast, subculture community.
