The practice of bogus orchestras using established names is more likely to occur on fly-by-night labels, where the conductor is a relative unknown. Established labels employing musicians on a session-by-session basis, rather than giving a false credit, would generally invent an orchestra name which sounds respectable and established, but does not really exist.
