Paul Agius has been a significant part of the surge of electronic music producers and djs emerging over the past decade in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia. Always being keen on quality sounds and grooves, he grew dissatisfied with being defined simply as a dj/promoter, and he thus sought out a more immediate and rewarding creative outlet. Paul Agius began to seriously embrace production in late 2006. Soon after he released his music on melbourne’s netlabel, Pinksilver and other labels, unfoundsound, shift and deepindub. Since then, his tracks received solid club and underground radio support.
