Steve Sanders

Real name: Steven Forrest Sanders

Sanders has been a mainstay of the Northeast Ohio music scene since the 1960s when he, with brothers Russ and Larry, were “The Lime,” an Akron-based band with national releases “Love A Go Go” on the Chess Records label and “Beautiful Day” on the Paramount/Dot label. Sanders also recorded with Seattle-based band The Clique which had the two million selling single, “Sugar on Sunday” in the 1970s. After returning home he was featured in both “The Jim Ballard Band” as well as regional favorite “77 South and the Interstate Horns.” He was also a founding member of CSNY tribute band “Ohio”.
