Real name: Erwin William Reinking

American songwriter.
Born May 25, 1918 Died May 2, 1960 (41 years old).
He was also a music teacher. He sometimes co-wrote with Harry Carlson.
He charted three times as a songwriter; his highest charter was "Cincinnati Ding Dong" by Art Lund, which hit #27 in the U.S. in 1952 (co-written by Harry Carlson & Roy Carroll). He also charted with "Tennessee Tears" (co-written by Ernie Lee) by Pee Wee King and "Tennessee Polka" by Pee Wee King in 1949--the first with vocals by Dave Denny (#12 country), and the second with vocals by Redd Stewart (#3 country).
