Günter Eilemann
Real name: Günter Eilemann
Singer and founder of Eilemann-Trio, born April 14th, 1923 in Köln/Germany and died October 4th, 2015. Eilemann was first Swing musician. During WW2 he got wounded and first faced a future career as musician, after meeting there Werner Fink. When he met Klaus Peter Urban in 1948, he switched from being a swing-pianist to become a carnival musician and founded Eilemann-Trio in 1952. After the tragical accident of his bassist in 1992, the Eilemann-Trio was dissolved after being active more than 40 years. In that time, Eilemann-Trio was one of the most popular bands of Cologne carnival.Günter Eilemann was married twice, retired after 1992 and finally deceased in the age of 92 in his senior appartment.
