Günter Eilemann

Real name: Günter Eilemann

Singer and founder of Eilemann-Trio, born April 14th, 1923 in Köln/Germany and died October 4th, 2015. Eilemann was first Swing musician. During WW2 he got wounded and first faced a future career as musician, after meeting there Werner Fink. When he met Klaus Peter Urban in 1948, he switched from being a swing-pianist to become a carnival musician and founded Eilemann-Trio in 1952. After the tragical accident of his bassist in 1992, the Eilemann-Trio was dissolved after being active more than 40 years. In that time, Eilemann-Trio was one of the most popular bands of Cologne carnival.
Günter Eilemann was married twice, retired after 1992 and finally deceased in the age of 92 in his senior appartment.
