German composer, arranger and lyricist. Best known for his song "Oh, wie bist Du schön", which became with slightly changed lyrics one of the best known soccer chants ("Oh, wie ist das schön...").Born Frankfurt/Main, Germany on February 19th, 1905, died May 9th, 1980.
