He and his brother David founded Groove 2 promotions in 1990 and began promoting the Eclipse raves in Cambridge which continued until 1993. Also co-owned the Boom Tunes and Planet Boom record shops in Cambridge.

Also promoted the Impact! (Drum 'n' Bass), Faster Pussycat (UK Garage) and We Love Ibiza! (House) events in Cambridge

Has since co-promoted the Natural Rhythms festival.
