Maxelle a Toronto Based group circa 2000-2001 that brought together the passionate vocals of Natacha Labelle and the soulful production of Don Ray Simmons. They recorded the timeless track French Connection, featuring shuffling beat programming and Natacha's vocals en francais. The track was originally featured on PTR's blue night network CD release and the eventually made into a 12inch, with a montreal subway art as the cover and accompanying remixes and reinterpretations by PTR's Moonstarr and Nubian Mindz of the UK.
