Apart from being Klaus Bloch's project name, the 'A La Ping Pong' phrase was what he called his tape delay system, which was in essence his variation on the Frippertronic system. His two albums as such bridged ambient and Krautrock instrumental styles akin to Fripp & Eno, Harmonia, etc..
